ABOUT US
Growing up in Los Angeles, public transportation was an important part of our family’s daily life. Being dependent on buses to get to school made us familiar with the shared-seating experience and the different conditions passengers can encounter from one ride to another.
We recognized that while transit seats serve many passengers throughout the day, individual riders have little control over the condition of the seat they encounter.
That experience inspired us to develop Genti Disposable Seat Covers.
We began measuring seats on buses and trains and developing a lightweight, non-woven cover that could provide a simple physical layer between passengers and shared seating.
Today, Genti is designed around a straightforward idea: give passengers greater choice while providing transit agencies with a practical, controlled-supply system that can fit alongside existing operations.
